Indications

Vitamin E is a naturally occurring dietary supplement that acts as a powerful antioxidant which has cardiovascular protective properties.

Pharmacological Action

Vitamin E is a fat-soluble vitamin that exists in eight different forms (isomers): alpha, beta, gamma, and delta tocopherol; and alpha, beta, gamma, and delta tocotrienol. The major function of vitamin E is that of a chain-breaking antioxidant that prevents the formation of free radicals. Each isomer has been shown to produce different benefits and should therefore be used in combination to produce maximum benefit.

Dosage Directions 

Adults and children over 9 years of age: Take 1 capsule daily, with meals.

Do not use this product if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to any of the ingredients. If you are on any medication or suffering from any medical condition, it is advisable to seek medical advice before starting any new medicine, supplement or remedy.

Vitamin E has a blood thinning effect, use with caution if you have been diagnosed with a vitamin K deficiency. This unregistered medicine has not been evaluated by the SAHPRA for its quality, safety or intended use.

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding

Safety during pregnancy and whilst breastfeeding has not been established. Vitamin E should not be used during the first trimester of pregnancy.
